FESTIVAL OF ARCHITECTURE 2020

Do you want to learn how to improve the quality of urban environment and streamline construction activities in a sustainable way? If your answer is yes, be sure to visit the Festival of Architecture 2020 that focuses on environment-friendly building and construction. The event will take place on February 26th to February 29th 2020 in the BVV Trade Fairs Brno premises (Hall V).

Lectures, discussions and workshops – all dedicated to passive buildings, energy-saving houses, vegetation constructions, water management, and other green energy technologies. Czech architects, planners and builders will discuss all aspects of environmentally sustainable architecture. The building industry faces serious challenges related to resource management, biodiversity conservation and adaptation of buildings/cities to climate changes. The contents of the lectures will reflect target audience based on the event schedule: building industry professionals (day 1), representatives of state administration and development (day 2) and broad public (days 3-4).

Mr. Petr Hajný, director of HUTIRA VISION Company, will present several real-life examples of clean drinking water availability scenarios. The worst situation exists in small villages that are not connected to the public water supply network. Moreover, their budget does not allow water-related projects to be implemented. Despite advanced water infrastructure in our country, there are many localities where quality drinking water supply is becoming a serious problem. Sometimes, the mayor has to call for a water tank to be provided for the community every day. However, this solution is extremely expensive. Mr. Hajný will outline an effective yet affordable solution with a quick ROI and funding grants available.
